One of my favorite things about these homegrown broadcast is watching the fans between innings. I know I'm lame but I like to see how long it takes them to notice and how long it takes them to wave the correct direction.
The smart ones find the camera fast, then you have the other ones that never can figure it out.

It looks atrocious and eats screen real estate. On smaller screens, like mobile, it's really crappy. It's like the static ads in Tiger Stadium. No value added to the consumer whatsoever. Just a naked money grab as the value proposition of live sports gets worse and worse for the fan.
