They can spout "superhero fatigue" all they want, when the reality is that it's shitty superheroes that are only there because of the racist arse guidelines they use.

who’s being left out because of racist?

Iron Man and captain Matvel Retired

XMen probably need a minute to breath after Fox put out 11 mediocre movies

they’re doing FF.

Who are the great superhero’s they’re leaving in the shelf?

Makes total sense when the MCU's future success hinges on Deadpool and Wolverine killing it at the box office......

Also, think of it this way. It's not all entirely who they are leaving on the bench but also who they are choosing to play that's causing this "fatigue".

The most popular Marvel characters of all time - the X-men. Or maybe some others out of the thousands of Marvel characters that exist. Instead, they chose Ms. Marvel, who's had multiple canceled runs to the point where they've already killed her off. They chose Iron Heart, who's chronically at the bottom of sales charts for comics.

Iron man - replaced by a character with chronically unsold and unread comics. Captain Marvel - I'm assuming you mean Captain America, who should've been replaced by Bucky but was changed so we could be lectured on how we should be less racist.

The X-Men (along with the FF) are the among the most famous characters in comic history. They don't need to breathe. They'd print money if done correctly.

Now, after losing billions from promoting characters that no one likes. They acquired their rights 5 years ago.

It's not who they are leaving out, it's who they are choosing to replace, and/or not replace.

They could have just taken a break done some small stuff and recasted some characters and done a separate Avengers storyline. Or they could do X-Men/FF.

Or they could do the plethora of great characters they are leaving behind. They had some trust built in.

On the big screen:
Daredevil
Punisher
Nova
Namor
Wonder Man
Black Bolt (yeah we can forget the TV show)
Ghost Rider
Blade (we're waiting)

So many tied to the X-Men though.
