Exactly.
Much of the Democrat's policy platform is not all that different from a platform of "Pizza for lunch ever day!" and "No homework, ever!" It's not rooted in logic, practicality, or any ability to legally implement it. It just sounds excited and makes their voters feel good...which is all that matters. And when it doesn't actually get implemented...because it can't, they can just turn around and blame the mean ole' (Principal) Republicans for keeping it from happening.
