i know somebody that is in business and has a full time position dedicated to researching the complete online persona of people being interviewed and if there's a hint of anything like them getting into pronouns, attending pride events, or even something mildly political along those lines, they'll pass.

they don't mind an old fashioned liberal or progressive or a gay person, but if there's a sniff of activism, there's no chance.

yes we're all aware that's illegal.
