When his four OL go to the combine

As good as he is, I'm not sure Emory Jones is automatic to leave early. Not many JRs do unless they're projected to go 1st Round, and I don't think he's currently projected to go that high in next year's draft. Besides, he--and the coaches--may want to move him to LT for his SR. year and give whoever is the LT of the future another year to get stronger and develop.

Who are these people and how much is "big money" and do you think it's so much higher than we'd offer for him to leave where he's from? I don't think he's an OC candidate, but could get some looks as HC at a smaller school or an NFL OL gig, neither of which would likely offer him much more money--if any--than LSU would match. It depends on what he wants the rest of his career to look like, what his long-term ambitions are. But I don't think any college program is gonna throw so much money at him to be their OL coach that it's just too good to pass up and make a lateral move.

???? Who are the last three LSU juniors who were projected to go in the top 3 rounds who stayed for their fourth year? I’m pretty sure you have to go back over a decade to get to 3. This has been a frustration for us for a while now - for whatever reason, LSU players have been a lock to go pro as long as they’re considered even remotely draftable. Maybe I’m just forgetting some guys but I’m genuinely struggling to come up with even ONE dude who was on Jones’s level but came back.
