And just think. It took the 5-8 freshman catcher getting hurt last year for the 6-3 Travinski to see the field.

Are they all using the catx2 piece hybrid?

I'm guessing that jones one was the laser that bowled the 3B over.

Crazy that we have 3 catchers that could start at most schools and they are all very different. Additionally, we have a few other guys who can also catch that we haven’t seen.

How'd that 5-8 catcher do yesterday?

If the team can find consistent production from Jones, Neal, Milam, and Brown then this offense is going to be scary good when Tommy White starts to settle in hitting in front of Travinski.

We are going to have a good rotation between catcher and DH this year, especially with Neal being a lefty. Not sure how it will work out except Neal will always play when there's a right hander starting and Milazzo as a late inning defensive replacement when Travinski catches.

For those of us who aren't as knowledgeable about exit speeds, what do those numbers mean?
In other words, is 90-100 MPH average or above average?
I'm guessing Travinski's 110 MPH is elite and the others are above average, but I honestly don't know.

Pretty much anything over 100 is considered smoked, over 105 is elite mlb level
