As we know injuries will come. Who are your key players who you feel we need to stay healthy to make a run? I feel we are much deeper in the bullpen this year and some arms are talented but unknown. I feel like White is a given. Who else ya got?

Braswell and White. I think we are deep enough at every other position to still be "ok".

Kling and Jones really can make or break this team. I think they both take the step.

I also feel if Travinski and Pearson can make use of their PA’s, since they will both have a full seasons worth, we have a great shot at repeating.

Pitching will be possibly even more dominant and that’s scary.

The sophomores must rake for this offense to produce consistently. Need a big jump from Kling, Jones, Neal, and Frey.

Correct, this team is only going to go so far if Kling and Jones aren't everyday players.

I don't get this. What if someone like Jake Brown or Ethan Frey were to end up being everyday players by outperforming them? I would get it with someone like Tommy or Hurd, but Kling and Jones haven't proven to be irreplaceable.

Kling and Jones are basically replacing Crews and Morgan. If you think Brown and Frey can step in immediately and perform everyday...sure. I'm not counting on that right now.

I get that, but last year Crews and Morgan are guys I would have said need to live up to expectations in order for the team to succeed. Those guys are irreplicable. I don't think Kling and Jones are on that level yet. I guess my point is that it would not surprise me at all if going into postseason play someone like Brown or Frey were an everyday starter instead of someone like Jones.

This is my issue to watch. I dont see anybody but Tanks to replace Morgan, Crews, Dugas, Beloso, and Thompson. I am talking from the experience standpoint. We have a lot of talent that can get hot and run a streak but I want to see is who is there everyday churning out a quality product. You need this to lead that younger talent along. Without it young teams will fold the tent toward the end of the season from fatigue and lack of discipline in their craft

Not saying we dont have it but just looking to see who can/will fill those shoes.

Won't speak on the Jones part of this equation but Kling is probably a top 3 most naturally talented player on the team. He's very important because other guys likely don't have his ceiling, which is an all-conference type of player who gets picked in the first round this summer.

I agree to an extent. I don't think Braswell will have a problem replacing Thompson. Pearson could end up be very similar to Dugas. I could see Travinski being similar to Beloso. All of those guys are pretty experienced. As far as Crews and Tre, I think that's a much tougher ask.

I think both will be cornerstones of our season. I expect Pearson to go tf OFF. Same with Travinski. Too many weapons to pitch around. I really like what we've seen from Uolla also. Beware the stache.

It's pretty ironic to give up on a player before the season begins even for a former JUCO player

Scouting report has been out on Jones for quite awhile now. If I'm Jones, I look for nothing but curve balls. If he can just learn to sit back and wait on it, he'll start putting a ton of them over left center.

My keys to this team will come down to our arms.

1st off i feel like Hurd will be our biggest arm and Holman will be our steady and reliable guy. If Hurd can stay aggressive in the zone and get ahead early in the counts, he’s dominant. He gets in trouble when he gets behind and predictable.

Holman is going to be our pound the zone guy giving our defense a chance, sitting 92-94, downhill FB, 3 pitch guy, but he is no skenes, or a guy that can consistently dominant the game.

Along with a few reliable BP guys, and a guy that can give us 5 strong innings on Sundays, I look for our arms to be the key to the team this year.
