From their own story

quote:

The purpose of the demonstration was unclear; however, chants of "Free Free Palestine" were heard from the area.

FFS. Zero shame. We are doomed

It’s a shame what has happened to SLC, it’s gotten weird the way our other major cities have. Utah is thankfully still normal everywhere else in the state though.

They didn't just make up a different phrase for what the protestors were shouting? Oh right, that didn't go well for them last time.

I live in ogden so I don't get to SLC much. The one time I did at night seemed pretty safe. Grubby homeless. No gang bangers in sight.

It’s just the normal unfortunates for now. Pride parades, and that sort of thing.

I’m told the homelessness is new though.

I actually love Orem and Provo, for what it’s worth. The cities are not pretty, but the mountains are an amazing backdrop, and the people are genuinely first rate. There’s also a decent mix of strip mall ethnic foods, like NoVA
