Looks good. I followed your plan and am starting to see some results. I will say spreading 6 yds of sand over 15k square feet is not for the faint of heart. Planted Maya II Blackjack 3 weeks ago.

I have one section of yard that was bare soil and I’m starting to see the Bermuda fill in….along with a lot of nutsedge. Looking for some advice on when I can spray to kill the weeds??

im not the expert. ill leave that to the other guys I have tried to learn from. My guess would be MSM turf mixed with a surfactant.
but
I would not apply anything other than high nitrogen fertilizer right now as you just seeded 3 weeks ago.

sedge hammer

Can mix it with MSM/Celcius or just spot spray the sedge with it. MSM alone wont kill it.

With Bermuda, nut sedge sticks out like a sore thumb. Luckily, it doesn’t take over your Bermuda so just let it be and you will have to live with it this year.

If it bothers you, mow right before you enjoy your yard, you won’t notice it.

You’re not alone with this, but sedgehammer works wonders so rest easy knowing you’ll defeat it next year.
