Agree, but something needs to be patched/fixed if someone with this documented history can walk into your local gun store and legally purchase a firearm. Just because they can get it from somewhere illegally doesn’t mean they should also be allowed a legal path as well.

They wont be able to walk into a store and purchase a firearm if they are in a padded cell being fed a dose of thorazine with every meal.
