We treat him with respect because we have been fans for decades. We have seen the struggles by all the SEC, not named Kentucky, and understand the difficulty of building a championship program.
Which SEC coaches have built and maintained a dominant program.
Just when it appeared we had that Coach, along came Woody.
He was young, exciting, the players liked him, and it appeared he would be here long enough to build a solid program.
Then along came Woody.

All of this!!!

People who watched LSU and SEC basketball year in and year out (not just years when LSU is competitive) understand how rare it is to get the consistency we had at LSU under Wade.

Let this sink in, people were complaining two years ago about Wade's team that ultimately received a 6th seed in the Tournament. Now, we shooting for 6 wins in the conference and not being in the bottom four of the league.

Neither of these statements contradict anything I said.. please find where I said Wade was a bad coach. Just because I say he wasn't the best Xs and Os coach y'all get upset. If I said Wade is a good coach even with him not being the best Xs and Os wise, that means you can be a good coach with your Xs and Os lacking.

Listen, it took until the fourth game I went to when I was younger to actually see a win, and all the games I went to were OOC, so put two and two together. I was a student at LSU during Wade's tenure. I love Will Wade. Just because I can be realistic about his tenure doesn't mean I hate the guy or realize how hard it is for LSU to win. I disagree with nothing either of you said. I want nothing more than LSU to win and have a good program and I know Wade got us super close to that.
