Naw man this isn’t true. Go to any small town in LA and it’s way more pro LSU than anything. Just as you said there’s a ton of out of state saints fans. Guess what? There’s 3x as many LSU fans. Have you spent any time in greater Houston? It’s got a massive LSU footprint.

Majority of the college grads from schools in LA not named LSU are still LSU fans. The LTU/ULL die hards are the minority. Southeastern might as well be LSU-Hammond. McNeese might as well be LSU-Lake Charles.
