I've been reloading TSS for 13 or 14 years now. Prob one of the first 50 when Hal decided to bring it to the turkey forefront since Kyle wanted to stick with duck/goose loads. Apex is nothing more than hand loaded shells that use most of the same components and powders as the rest of us and that's the problem. The powders we use and TSS isn't to hard to come by but the Hulls have been a bitch to get and wads are iffy depending on gauge. Luckily I bought over 30lbs of shot when it was $24 a lb and thousands of wads and hulls so I'm good til I die and probably my great great grandkids. 410 and 28ga are about all I shoot now but those components have the been the hardest to get.

Federals are prob the best of any of the big brands if that's all you can find
