The only people that left WWL to go to Fox were Lee Zurik, Juan Kincaid, David Bernard and Bruce Katz.

Snell also. But that was before the Benson purchase.

Meg Gatto was poached from WGNO. I am amazed how that station is still in business.

I think a problem with WWL is it has become a stepping stone to something else, where it used to be a rock for lifers. Only lifer I can imagine staying is Chris Frankiin. Tom Truong was good but he left to do his podcast and investigations on his own. His former partner (a woman who was great) left after a year.

That was a lot of their established/upcoming talent around that time.

Zurik is the biggest local news personality there is though. And his investigations obviously reel a lot of viewers in.
