I mean...he (meaning Brady) threw for over 300 yards and 3 TDs in his second Super Bowl appearance. He then completed almost 70% of his passes and threw for two touchdowns in his third appearance.
I'll give you Super Bowl XXXVI as his stats in that game were very pedestrian.
