I think 1440p is still the sweet spot imo as you can max out all settings and still get 100+ fps. You are still getting a significant resolution bump over 1080p. Add HDR and ultrawide to the mix and it's amazing. Maybe in a couple more gpu genrations I'll look at going to 4K.
I have the Alienware AW3423DW and love it. I'm never going back to regular LED monitors.
I don't even really notice the slight curve on it. Though I don't think I'd like the sharper curve on something like the Samsung G9. Also I wouldn't go for something that wide either as alot of games don't support that aspect ratio natively.
I use my monitor for gaming, work and watching alot of youtube/twitch etc. Used to run a dual monitor setup but a single ultrawide is much more immersive experience for gaming.

Yeah, I have been looking at that one. Also looking at this ASUS ROG Swift 41.5" 4k OLED.
Is a 4090 not enough to run max settings at 4k?
