This is what I find hilarious. People ( because the don’t follow basketball) don’t realize the talent generally in this state.
Basketball could be a consistent winner and a huge source of revenue. Each NCAA tournament win is worth about $2million over 6 years or about $337,000 per year. A sweet 16 run is an additional $4 mill.
Only football eclipsing its payout.

And like you say people who don’t follow basketball, outside of watching LSU conf games, don’t realize that the HS rankings in states like ours are skewed because we don’t have the prep pipeline recruiting sites follow to rank their players. Our guys are always underrated but they’re getting to the NBA so it isn’t a talent issue.
