Sitting in the covered back porch during a light rain.

1) when your son and dog run to greet you after a long day work and your wife looks at you and smiles. Those moments you only get some many of them. I’ve learned that and it’s made life easier.
2) when my son climbs in my lap 30 minutes before bed and we watch whatever the flavor of the week show he wants to watch. It makes the world just stop
3)cold beer after hard days work in yard. The smell of fresh cut grass and the feel of accomplishment
to a man if you can’t appreciate the small things like these and other you baws have all mentioned what the heck are we doing with our lives.

Sitting in the covered back porch during a light rain.
When I was a kid we lived in a house without A/C and only had a whole house fan to pull in some outside air.
In the summer months I loved when it would rain and I'd open the window at the head of my bed and lie there listening to the rain hitting the big tin shed roof next door and it would almost always put me to sleep.
