A lot of these decent role players are being pushed up the boards because of the weak top end as well. I don't even know if I want to waste salary and a roster spot on anyone in this draft. We'd probably do better with an UDFA who can be developed on a 2 way.

There seem to be a bunch of centers projected in the mid first. Three of them (Kyle Filipowski of Duke, Donovan Clingan of UCONN, and Kel’el Ware of Indiana) all seem interesting either due to outside shooting / projected NBA 3 point shooting or overall package.
If the plan is to replace JV or Nance long term and we don’t have a deal in mind after the lottery, using the Laker pick to get one of these guys isn’t a horrible plan.
