Instead they go with a guy with a 5-19 record the past 2 seasons. Nice. Auburn may be headed to the perpetual bottom of the west with Moo State.

I think Chizik is a good hire for Auburn and a GREAT hire for LSU and the rest of the SEC West.

That is the first thing that I thought. They hire a guy that was once a hot coordinator, then coaches a losing team. If this isn't Dinardo deja vu, then I don't know what is. I'm just baffled that they fired a top notch coach for a coach with a losing record. Hell Chizik defences have even sucked at Iowa St.

Auburn dont deserve Gill....they will regret hiring Chizik.....but it will be good for the sec..a for sure win for anyone who plays Auburn..
