Hi, flying KLM to Africa this summer and they changed my flight time from Minneapolis cutting my connection time to 1 hour 15 min.
I have flown in and out of there, but never had a connection. Assuming no delays will we be ok? Thinking of Heathrow security checkpoint type issues.
Also aware the flights are likely to keep shifting a bit.
Thanks in advance.

Schipol is Yuge. Might be okay, might be real tight depending on how far apart the gates are.
Gate security there is not an issue. Very efficient.
My Africa trips usually meant a 6-8 hour layover. I'd be happy with an hour and a quarter

Are you flying on same airline (or airline partner) all the way through or do you need to check in to a new airline?
The former you should be ok. The latter that may be not doable.

Thanks, Delta/KLM the whole way.
Will let it play out and see if they move it again before doing anything.

You will be fine as long as you don't have a late departure from MSP.
Schiphol is huge, but very efficient - especially now that they've completed the renovations that were happening pre-covid.

IF the inbound plane is late, you will miss the connection. That's a huge airport and has had delay issues lately. They will rebook you as its one booking, but you might lose a day. I would feel a lot better about 3-4 hours.
For example, even if you have nasty headwinds over the Atlantic and they want to refuel at Shannon, bingo you lose the connection. Even if yall leave USA on time. This has happened to me and made for a miserable ride home.
