Cool, then create a new character for her. Anne Bonny was a white Irish woman. This casting is as stupid as casting the black chick for Annie, except this casting is using a historical character. I understand that the Pirate's franchise is fictional, but many of the characters are based on actual pirates. Just race/gender swapping for woke points is why that company has the reputation for destroying IP's.

Just to clear things up since OP was kinda misleading. It has not been confirmed that the character is based on Anne Bonny. That part is speculation based on it being a pirate movie and a character "possibly" named Anne.
There was a black character named Anamaria in the first pirates movie, maybe she is portraying her
