The last 2 movies they turned sparrow into a bumbling idiot who good things happened to through luck rather than any cunning maneuvers by him

I mean…

That’s a lot of the first 3 movies too.

That whole series should have stopped at 3.

Would have been really okay with it stopping with the first one, honestly. It's still the best one by a country mile.

Hard to care about what they're doing in #6 when you fall asleep during 4 and 5.

Actress Eyo Edebiri up for lead role in Pirates 6

Replacing Johnny Depp, she’ll either be playing the historical pirate Anne Bonny or someone based heavily on her.

I was curious what the source was for this.

So I found this:

This latest whisper was first brought to the surface courtesy of a February 4th post made by noted scooper Daniel ‘DanielRPK’ Richtman to his personal Patreon account.

According to Richtman, as relayed from behind the paywall by The Hollywood Handle, plans for the film have not only been revived, but at current, Disney is supposedly looking to cast The Bear star Ayo Edebiri as a character simply-referred to as Anne.

Not saying it's true or false, but probably take it with at least a grain of salt.

These are floated by Disney to get early feedback.

The best feedback always comes from the limited patreon audience of a "scooper" who is regularly debunked. This tracks.
