I think Bears are crazy to take Caleb and trade Fields. Caleb is not that much better than Fields. Not that Fields is great. Caleb just is way overhyped

A rookie QB contract gives them the best chance for success in the next 4 years. Paying Fields closes that door for good.

This isn’t a debate on who is better. #1 pick QB on a rookie deal for several yrs vs QB with potential who has yet to put it all together on the last yr of rookie deal.

Jayden Daniels bails out of the pocket at a 10% clip. Of the big 3, he will easily be the shittiest. Guy is also like 200lbs soaking wet. You’re just a homer LSU fan.

Both had similar stats in college but Fields didn't lose as much as Caleb did.
Hard to judge Fields in Chicago since he has no help. Putting Caleb in the same position won't change anything for Chicago. They need to draft OL and WRs.
