No I didn't drag it anywhere. I rarely go in it unless it's tax time and periodically. I've looked in all the other folders on that partition.

Understood, and no disrespect intended.
Sounds like you know what you're doing, but not everyone does so I was simply raising the obvious "have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in" type solution just in case, because I have personally migrated a folder into a folder accidentally.
Hope you recover your files, how frustrating.
