But their electric grid is a mixture of coal and other sources, so the EV is still less emissions than burning gas.

I’m sorry you’re too stupid to understand no amount of electric vehicles will make up for the fact 70% of their electricity is generated by burning coal. And they’re still building more coal powered electric plants to generate the power for the additional electric cars they’re putting on the roads. So all they're really doing is making idiots like you think they’re doing something when they’re really not doing jack shite.

Also, as I pointed out with them building the world's largest solar farm, your statement that they are doing "nothing" to cut emissions was bullshite

The reason it seems like “bullshite” to you is you’re too stupid and gullible to understand using electric cars powered by coal fired power plants isn’t doing anything to reduce CO2 emissions. And in fact, as they add more coal powered plants to power more and more electric cars, they’re actually doing the opposite of what you, in your feeble mind, think they’re doing.

There is no overnight fix. They still need power. Sorry that you can't understand that transporting gas all over China creates more emissions than creating electricity at a power plant and then charging the car through the grid. Based on China's power grid, it is 45% less emissions.

The goal isn't "100% clean" , it's "less dirty"
