My kids are still young, and I don't think we'd move over it. We are currently in The Woodlands. I do have a co-worker who just went through this though. Tons of kids don't get accepted, but still find their way. In fact he was talking about how it saved him money. Didn't get into A&M right away. Spent 1 year at another school for less money, then transferred. It's the path for a lot of kids.

I think people don’t understand that even these public schools have limits on capacity. It ain’t easy to say do better if there’s no space to accept your kid. Some of these schools with a lot of… a specific demographic are ruthless academically and can’t compete
