Serious question because looks like January 29, 2024 week for US average of Regular was $3.095 per gallon. November 27, 2023 was $3.238 per gallon.

In December I was pay 2.16 in Waveland, Ms ( 2.29) in Mandeville,La. It’s now 2.89

I guess to be fair, it's only like 56 cents, but it's jumped almost $.40 in the last 2 weeks.
