What about FDR and the direction of the country following his presidency?

Nixon taking us off the gold standard in 71 has caused the monetary quagmire we are in today.

Obama was the cultural shift that is plaguing the minds of our children

The operating premise of the Fed gov was changed long before that POS took office.

Of course those were big steps in the process. However, Obama promised ahead of time to fundamentally transform the US. He and his ilk set out with that as their stated mission. Just seems different than poor decision making. Obama is calculating.
