It's comical that some folks complain about having a winner in NOLA and when they actually start building something, all of a sudden the excuses come out
It's year 5, our 2 dudes are mostly healthy, and we're in a battle to try to avoid the play in.
Now couple that with the money crunch coming, and it's hard to make an argument to pay BI.

West was always going to be a gunfight for the top 6 positions and for all practical purposes, Pels are tied for 5th. with a lot of shite-the-bed performances. Guess I'm an optimist and feel that a couple of key moves to shore up the Pels front-court would go a long way to getting a first-round playoff home advantage and at least a second-round series (which should be the goal). If they play to goal (or come reasonably close), there is no reason for Mrs. B not to pay the tax.
