Didn't they initially ride on 1st Sunday afternoon after moving Uptown?
I'm not sure what the schedule was after they moved them to the east bank. They were traditionally a day parade on the Sunday the week before Bacchus.

In the 80s and 90s, Algiers (and Terrytown on the back half of the route) had Nefertiti on Friday night two weeks out (they stopped rolling in the early/mid 90s). Then one week out Cleopatra was on Friday night, Choctaw (later replaced by the Krewe of America and then Aladdin) on Saturday during the day, and Alla on Sunday during the day. There was also Nomtoc, which rolled on different days on a different route on General Meyer. Lots of fun times.
