Yeah...I don't like that. I have a few friends like that and they get scared to take time off "officially" so they just end up sneaking it even though they can take it but don't want to send the wrong message. It's a gotcha game I don't want to play.
As I mentioned, working a long time for a hospital, I was accruing some much time that I'd take all the time off I needed during the year, and also get a payout for unused PTO.
So with unlimited, I can still take all the time off I want, but now I lose that additional payout I was getting before.
