Those were some great times to be alive. Nothing even remotely close to this would go down successfully today.

I can’t think of five artists today that are of the caliber that sang on We Are the World. Plus most modern pop stars would never set aside their egos for a project like this.

They wouldn't be able to get everybody off their phones posting their tik toks and IGs. They all be much more worried about how they looked. It's really kind of impressive that they were willing to just leave the AMAs, forget the party, and go to work.
