Nick has some hard legs on this board that think he can do no wrong. I like the guy enough, but he isn't infallible.

Nick is pretty decent at trying to be impartial and call out the organization when he needs to. The thing that would piss me off is he would try to inject being an SJW into his content (like the way he acted like a bitch when Gruden first started helping the team last offseason). That said he has stopped doing that as much, and he leaves it out for the most part…..which I appreciate.

Overall, I think he is getting better with trying to keep it about football and call out what he should call out about the organization.

He used to be. He just carries water now. He is rarely critical of coaching and would barely acknowledge Pete's issues. Had the back of MT throughout the offseason but did not touch what MT was saying about Carr earlier this year.

Look, I don't blame him. But he has caved to the team, in some regards, because he has gotten the attention of fans and some national media. I hope his company takes off like Barstool and dude creates an empire. But we have to call it like we see it.

No he’s not. Everything ends in a pro-Saints slant.

“Man Derek carr isn’t playing good enough” is not being impartial. But that’s the type of benign shite he’ll say to try & sound edgy.

“This is what Mickey Loomis/management wants” is how he paints ideas that he doesn’t agree with.

His access 100% depends on riding the line. I get it, good for him. But it’s easy to see through.

No he isn't...Loomis owns him and gives him his marching orders in exchange for info.

I completely soured on Underhill last season when he started defending retaining allen with clear propaganda sound bytes like "well who else are you going to get that's better?" "no coach will want to come here after you fire a guy following one season" "tanking is bad because it will ruin the culture" (even though Mickey has now admitted the culture has gone to shite anyway, probably because you hired dennis allen).

Started out as a really good beat writer that got some good scoops but then got a little too close and now his opinions are bought and paid for. No point in listening much less paying for that kind of content.
