I know Intergrade had upgraded visuals and performance compared to the original PS4 game. But is there anything new or different with the story besides the Yuffie chapter DLC?
The only difference to the main game was an extended ending that came with the Intergrade DLC, and a superboss fight against Weiss in the combat simulator.
He's a tough son of a bitch, too. I highly recommend the challenge.
I also recommend playing Intergrade though. It ties in seamlessly to the main game's plot, adds a couple impressive new areas, and adds the "synergy" combat ability which they have apparently heavily integrated into Rebirth.

Rebirth synergy seemed different from the dlc synergy.

I transferred the Remake data from PS4 to the PS5 and started to play through again, but forgot I had replayed chapter 1 on the hard mode that gets unlocked after you beat the game. So now that save game is stuck on hard mode. On chapter 10 now and damn its a lot tougher for some of these boss fights
Hardest thing is not being able to use items at all and the benches next to vending machines only recharge HP but not MP. Learned that the only way to beat main bosses is to use MP as little as possible until the boss fight. And it helps to have 2 MP Up materia per character.
