Shitpost, BTW

Youngsville's getting a hotel! ??
"XAG Group is looking to build over 100,000 square feet of office, retail and restaurant space along with a hotel that will have 80-85 rooms across 14.4 acres near the Youngsville Sports Complex, CEO and partner Nathaliah Naipaul said. It will also include green space in a town center-type of design."

Lobby going to be full with desperate travel ball mom’s prime for Jody. All the husbands will be at the field early to make sure Jaxson gets his cuts before the game where all the Juco scouts will be.

I guess they can walk to Morvant's? I don't think there's much else to do in the Royville area other than Morvant's. I like Foster Park but none of these travel ball families are walking from behind the church all the way to the baseball fields. If you want to make something walkable put it by Sugar Mill Pond.

That's the one that was cancelled/changed. This one is going on First St behind St Anne church where they're tearing down that old shed.

I recently covered a soccer game at Youngsville Sports Complex It was a rough night. Long walk over the bridge and to the field, no bathrooms that I saw, and minimal seating. I was roughing it in the cold.

What am I missing about Youngsville? I’ve driven through, but just appears to be some neighborhoods a big sports complex &….roundabouts. Can someone clue me in.

Fast-growing and a lot of big-city egos crammed into a ritzy suburb (I guess...overall, I like going there on work assignments)

I’m in Laffy all the time for work. What’s to do in Y’ville except travel ball? Sarcasm (off)

I don’t understand the youngsville lure.
- its a pain in the arse to get around
- it floods easily
- it takes forever to get to I-10 and Hwy 90
- everything seems super cheaply built and super generic
- you still have to go to Lafayette for almost everything
- there’s a lot of trashy people with a little money. Not South Lafayette money though and it shows.

I don’t know. I’m old & if I’m not working, I’m home with my dogs.
I’m originally from rural North Louisiana, so Lafayette is a big city to me

Much like Houston. They have zero zoning laws or regulations. They just build shite on shite on shite
