We don't eat out very often, but my son graduates from LSU next Friday and we want to go out for lunch. Can you make some suggestions? Preferably a place that takes reservations since I'm certain most places will be crowded. Also, I'm a single mom and can't spend a mint on the meal. Suggestions?

Most places do not take reservations on LSU's graduation day. Chimes, Mike Anderson's, Raplh & Kacoo's, Louisiana Lagniappe, Parrain's, Sammy's

Some suggestions made earlier....

And any decent restaurant will take reservations for graduation. Many will even have special event menus.

I work around kids that graduate every year and have heard from them that most places around LSU will not take reservations on graduation day. Call around and see.

We did PF Changs for my graduation. But, I had worked there so I knew exactly what I wanted.
