I guess I don't care much about 1908 since I have often make fun of Bama and ND fans for all their title claims.

I can certainly understand questioning these ancient titles, but the BCS as your line of legitimacy is odd.
While the previous poll system was imperfect, it generally provided an undisputed champ.
And even the BCS was far from perfect, especially considering the number of 3 and 4 ranked teams that won titles in the playoff era.
