Have we talked about how much NIL is doing for WBB?

While the quality of collegiate sport products have diminished by and large, WBB teams have quietly continued building rosters of 4-year players & the sport feels the way many college athletics did ~20+ years ago.

The girls themselves play the game more like the team sport that it used to look like in the Celtics heyday. Teams build chemistry because the best players aren’t all one & done. Even casual fans know the roster.

Fan support in BR is through the roof. PMAC was something special last night. I am 100% down with this — the old heads really need to drop the “muh girls” BS. If it bugs you, log TF off.

WBB is closer to MBB than any other women’s sport to its men’s counterpart, and for LSU at present it is an undeniably better product.

WBB is the one sport where there is enough fan support to where the college elites make more money than the pro sport option.

And yet I still don’t care. Let me know when Men’s bball is competitive again.

Was there a point in time that women’s basketball wasn’t a 4yr sport?

Also most LSU’s roster is transfers lol

I’m curious how the NIL fund splits up football, baseball, and basketball
