Happy Days, Two 1/2 Men, and I might get blasted for this one: MASH. After Henry Blake died the series could have ended and we would have been better off.

I’m not “blasting”, because I’m in the minority, but I liked Potter and Winchester as characters much more than Burns and Blake. Neither of whom are believable as military officers much less surgeons. Also, the MASH finale is one of the best finales in TV history.

As much as I love Frasier, there is a noticeable drop in the last season. Not that it went for “too long”, it’s more like all the natural storylines had finished by then. There are some hilarious episodes of that season however. The one with Patrick Stewart and the Maris trilogy are classics.

I’ll also mention Modern Family. That show was really becoming a caricature of itself. It just has too much going on. It could’ve ended a couple of seasons earlier.

I forgive you for the M*A*S*H comment and won't DV you..LOL

To this day, the finale of M*A*S*H is the highest rated non-sports/non-news episode of all time with around 106 million viewers.
