She doesn’t have any student loan debt either and came over here from a third world nation to complete her masters. She worked for the university while completing her graduate degree.

Congrats…I think all people would say no student loan debt > with student loan debt.
My comment is in reference to the size of the student loan payments. $500K in student loan debt is crushing if you make $70K a year. It’s bearable if you make $500K as in the OP.
