Once he entered the portal, that ended any obligation LSU had to keep him on scholarship. If there isn’t a scholarship available for him and/or LSU doesn’t want him back, then he’ll have to find another landing spot.

I dont wish anyone poorly. But I just dont understand people that piss away second chances. Hey, I get it, you picked a bad spot for your self, you didnt adapt to college life and the demands...were probably coached by guys that let you do as you please your whole life and you screw up. But the second time? No, that is a character flaw that probably will not be remedied.

His dad's in the military. I believe he followed him to Tokyo, Japan. He joined up with the local youths to learn the true art of drifting.

I wonder if he is enrolled in school anywhere ? If I understand it correctly, he will not be eligible for spring practice if he’s not currently a student in good standing at that school. In addition, there may be other academic issues that cloud his eligibility for athletics. It may well be a very complicated situation with a lot of moving parts.

IIRC you have to be in good standing to transfer so he could be working on that…
