Ramsey by contrast can be an extreme dickhead in his business dealings and harsh in terms of training. But, I know a producer that had worked with him when he first started Hell's Kitchen who said outside of work......and even with work off the camera, he would follow up with people and encourage them and even if he had to let people go, if he thought you had potential would help you out.

He's not a prick

Can't remember if I saw this on an episode or heard it somewhere, but Bourdain said he was eating somewhere in NYC and a guy on the street said, "Hey Ant-knee, how come you never did a show about Philly?" Bourdain said he was about to speak and the guy cut him off and says, "you know what, frick you don't come to philly!" To which Bourdain says, "oh, I gotta go to philly."

I can see that. Being a prick or acting obnoxiously is great for tv. Stephen A smith is the same way with ESPN. All an act of ratings.
