No, shite. They wanted LA in the game.

If you were fixing a game because you wanted a certain team in the SB, is that the way you’d do it? Blow a call late but leave the team you want to win behind needing a 48 yard FG to tie and send it to OT. Then have them lose the toss in OT and win in a 57 yard FG?

2 plays before the blown call Brees threw the ball at Thomas feet or Thomas walks into the EZ. The Saints also were up 13-0 in the first. Did the league cause the Saints opening drive to stall or they one after an INT set them up on the 17?

It was a the officiating equivalent of Buckner letting the ball between the legs but it wasn’t “fixed”. The Saints had ample chances to win and arguably should have anyway

They did let a few DPIs go that should have been called on the Rams early. Especially 1 against Dan Arnold in the endzone that would have led to an early TD

Many people forget there were 3 OBVIOUSLY blown calls late in that game. 2 were in OT on the same play. They LITERALLY tackled MT the same way and didn't blow the whistle.

The announcers played it off like it was tipped, but it wasn't even CLOSE to being tipped.

What you understand because you are too dumb is that it should've never come to that. 15 yd penalty enforced and saints gash them with Ingram and Kamara and the rest is history. If the game would t have been rigged overtime plays wouldn't be a discussion. I don't understand why yall say if only they did this in overtime they would made it to the super bowl. That's like someone over your shoulder telling the other player what hand you have in poker and that player takes the pot, you lose everything, and then have start over with nothing.

The refs stunk. No doubt. But when you’re the better team act like it. Win by 17 any you won’t have these chances of someone stealing the win. I knew when they let the fake punt happen we were going to let them hang around. We did this several times over the years. Painful to know we should have been to 2 or 3 more SBs…
