That’s not a valid point. You CHOOSE to not use the services like the bus you described later. StG doesn’t even have the option to choose to not use it. They are forced to pay with no choice in the matter

The bus issue gets very murky because of how they passed it.
It is directly taxed for BR and Baker when they pushed for the increased funding some years back because it never would have worked at the parish level. In fact, it got voted down in Zachary.
How money from the general fund gets spent could mean St George paying for it since money is fungible and their money is commingled with the rest of the general fund.

I grew up taking the bus in NOLA, I’m not against public transportation - the bus in BR is useless
