Did not read the book but there was nothing "noble" about the Comanche.

Burned men alive,gang raped women,infants and small children were summarily killed.

There wasn't a more brutal or sick tribe in the history of indigenous peoples.

I’m not arguing against that but he does highlight some of their bravery and elusiveness.

They are savages but let’s not act like European culture was better before the rise of the Catholic Church.

I’m glad we beat the natives. The better, advanced, and more civil culture won. But I’m not going to pretend the same people that won the Indian wars wasn't also just 40 years removed from slavery.
