I’ve used Bear Mountain in my Z Grill with great success. I have no complaints about quality and price. However, their new series is available exclusively at Walmart which is throwing red flags about quality for me.
Is there an alternative at the same price? Will the quality of Bear Mountain be the same? What are you using?

$15 for a 40lb at Academy, don’t over think it

Agreed that these are the best pellets but I wish they had more variety and were easier to obtain.

I use Bear Mountain and have for a few years now. They’re great. I tried some made from pecan shells recently and they are fantastic, but way too expensive.

The last bag of Bear Mountain I got had loads of sawdust in it. I ended up tossing the remaining bag in the trash

Costco has their Kirkland brand, only 1 option but it is a blend of Oak, Hickory, Maple, & Cherry. $13 for 40lbs
