He decided to define himself as being a McCarthy hanger on.
He elected to swim in the swamp instead of staying out of a no win situation and he ended up hurting himself politically and possibly cost BR.

. And he’s paying the price for being himself.
Because of minority population clusters in LA?

We are who we are. And he’s paying the price for being himself.
Yeah, I dont get all the hand wringing in this thread. Someone had to go:
1st district: Steve Scalise Nope
2nd district: Troy Carter Absolutely No
3rd district: Clay Higgins ?
4th district: Mike Johnson Hell naw
5th district: Julia Letlow Only female. Nada
6th district: Garret Graves ?
So it was down to Higgins or Graves. Graves pissed off the Republican delegation by his back stabbing for McCarthy. And then the new LA. guv by endorsing his opponent
Dont start nothing, wont be nothing
Landry certainly wasnt going to cut out his own base and former seat, so Graves was the easy decision. He did it to himself. Politics is a blood sport. Done endorse someone, unless youre ready to go down with them. Who wants to be around, or work around someone who openly said youre not capable of doing your job?
