It does seem like they are targeting long, super lean corners so far early in BK’s tenure. The long part isn’t out of the ordinary but I wonder if the relative scrawniness is something they specifically want to work with and mold, or if it’s just random with the players that have been available in state.

I think it’s just availability & they are throwing darts. I don’t mind it; but then again I’m not a star gazer. I know those guys hate it

To them, it's more height and speed, and they worry about the weight later. At one of BK's pressers this year, as the defense was struggling, one of the reporters asked him what they look for in defensive back prospects and the first thing that came out of his mouth was verifiable speed.

I think their approach with this class was we are getting our butts kicked going after "elite" prospects at certain positions. Let's take guys who have the frame and the speed of an elite prospect but will need 2-3 years of development.

BK wants to turn this into a development program. He has said it countless times. It seems like he felt burned by their portal haul for 2023. I don't know if this strategy will work, but it's their chosen path.

A lot of folks have been saying Turner will be a better DB than WR going forward. That could very well be the case. For LSU's sake, hopefully, they figure out his best path sooner rather than later.
