Sure, nothing wrong it except for professional and academic work you’d use BCE and CE because it is the current universal standard.

Yeah, no. The current universal standard is much like the oxymoron of scientific consensus being some kind of bonafides for AGW. As a Christian, I don't find myself looking for opportunities to sanitize my language in pursuit of a more secular dialogue.

Mr. Kepler isn't the one making a point to use it here, in a discussion about religion among an overwhelmingly Christian audience.

Which is absolutely stupid. The calendar we use today, the Gregorian Calendar, was developed by the Catholic Church and remains the most accurate calendar yet devised by human hands. When academics use CE and BCE they are still reckoning from the same event in time as the Catholic Church was when they developed it.
